Homesteads for Hope Inc. Unveils Refreshed Brand Identity, Logo, and Website to Emphasize Inclusivity and Community
Rochester, NY - April 5, 2024 - Homesteads for Hope Inc., a 501c3 non-profit Community Farm and Future Housing Village, situated on 55 picturesque acres along the Historic Erie Canal, announces the launch of its 8th season with an exciting rebranding initiative. Founded by a Mother and Daughter team with a heartfelt mission to support families raising autism, Homesteads for Hope has evolved into a beacon of inclusion and belonging for people of all abilities.
The organization’s renewed focus aims to underscore that Homesteads for Hope is a place for everyone - not only serving individuals with disabilities and autism but also welcoming future farmers, caregivers, and a community built on acceptance and celebration of differences.
Earlier this year, Homesteads for Hope embarked on a journey to refresh its brand identity and logo, unveiling a design that encapsulates the organic essence of farm life while retaining the beloved puzzle piece sunflower emblem. The decision to revamp was fueled by the desire to reflect the evolving nature of the organization and to resonate more deeply with its diverse community.
"Our original logo, crafted through community input ten years ago, served us well, but it was time for a fresh perspective," remarked Jennyrae Brongo, Founder & CEO at Homesteads for Hope. "The sunflower symbolizes hope, growth, and resilience, while the puzzle pieces embody equality - values at the core of our mission. With this new brand identity, we're reaffirming our commitment to inclusivity and empowerment."
Accompanying the rebrand are updated Mission and Vision Statements, which articulate Homesteads for Hope’s dedication to fostering growth, purpose, and belonging for individuals with disabilities:
Our Mission:
To inspire individuals with disabilities, and their families to grow their unique abilities, purpose, and sense of belonging
to create a meaningful and productive life in nature’s classroom.
Our Vision:
We are dedicated to nurturing and cultivating an inclusive community that celebrates all abilities,
where everyone can learn, work, live and grow together.
The new website will go live on Friday, April 5th, and provide users with a much-improved experience. This revamped digital platform will allow the community to engage more effectively with the organization's mission and programs.
Currently serving over 600 families through its programs and memberships, Homesteads for Hope has set its sights on expanding its impact by developing 30 acres of inclusive housing on-site, furthering its commitment to creating a community where everyone thrives.
