In 2024, we're introducing a Membership Committee, Weekly Membership Gatherings and a Membership APP - taking our commitment to engagement to the next level. Your membership not only supports the farm financially but also plays a crucial role in building an inclusive community where learning, working, and even living become intertwined for the greater good.

  • $150 / Year

    Daily recreation at the Farm including access to picnic tables, kayak storage / launch, and fishing.

    Weekly Members Gatherings hosted on Thursdays 5 to 8pm.

    Free Social Clubs: Farm Club 8+, Hope Crew 16+.

    Free or discounted member / community events and classes.

    Priority volunteer opportunities.

    Access to Members App / Forum.

    Exclusive *Unlimited* daily access to U-Pick Community Garden of Vegetables, Fruits, Herbs & Flowers.

    Self Guided, Interactive, Hands on Opportunities in the Community Garden.

    Memorial Day Planting Picnic, and Garden Classes throughout the Season.

    Garden Co-Op Members will have access to Member only shed with shared tools, seeds, gloves, etc.

    *NEW* Community Garden space will include effortless water irrigation provided by H4H Team.

    Includes 20 weeks of Farm Fresh organically grown vegetables from June through November.

    *NEW* this year we offer a University Ave pick-up Location at Living Roots Wine & Co only on Tuesdays

    ALL CSA Members are invited to a Chef prepared food tasting in the Fall to celebrate the season.

  • Join Hope Crew, Ages 16+

    #HopeCrew is a social group of self-advocating members who represent Homesteads for Hope, welcoming the community to our farm. #HopeCrew plans outings around Greater Rochester, but also hosts social activities for members on-site during the season.

  • Join Farm Club, Ages 5+

    Farm Club is a social group for adolescents of all abilities. It utilizes nature's classroom to bring kids together for a variety of hands-on projects, workshops and interactive experiences.

Hope Crew, Ages 16+

Thursdays, 5-6pm - and other dates as decided by members!

Activities include:

  • Exciting outings around Greater Rochester

  • Engaging in on-site social activities during the season

  • Fun-filled events on the farm

  • Community outings alongside Homesteads staff

  • Bonfire and s'mores under the stars

  • Cooking classes

  • Volunteering at the local Humane Society

Farm Club, Ages 5-15

Activities Include:

  • Engaging in on-site social activities during the season

  • Fun-filled events on the farm

  • Stem-based activities

  • DIY lava lamps, CO2 experiments, fairy houses

  • Tending to the needs of the chickens

Support may be required:

1:1 sidekicks should be available as necessary to ensure every participant can fully participate and enjoy the experience.

Monthly Birthday Barn Dance!

Celebrate your Birthday at Homesteads for Hope!

These celebrations usually take place mid-month on a Friday! At Homesteads for Hope, we believe in making everyone feel special on their birthday. Our Membership Committee hosts this gathering to celebrate all birthdays for the month!

Activities Include:

  • Lively Barn Dance or Cozy House Party

  • Fun-filled games and activities

  • Delicious treats and refreshments provided

Monthly Open House

Join us for Homesteads for Hope's Monthly Open House series! Families, individuals, and agency professionals, including self-directed brokers, can come together to explore our membership and program services. Held on the first Tuesday of every month, our Open House series provides a welcoming environment for networking and connection. Agenda as follows:

  • 2pm - 3pm, Agency Professionals & Brokers may attend a brief overview of services and opportunities at H4H, light refreshments provided.

  • 4pm - 6pm, Individuals, Families + Professionals are welcome to meet and mingle directly with our team and learn more about our inclusive programs and opportunities for involvement on our farm. Light refreshments provided.
